Flaws That Aren't Flaws To Me
To all the people who were once insecure of their features, here's a little something for you ^-^
When she speaks of her flaws,
Lips curling in a sad pout,
I only wonder—
How could those flaws ever seem like flaws to me?
Her eyes,
Fighting back tears,
Are oceans I could gladly drown in,
And call it living—just to touch her beauty
Beauty has always been subjective,
And to this beholder,
There’s nothing more irresistible
Than the raw, aching beauty of you.
When will you ever understand—
That your heart enhances every feature you own,
That kindness shapes your glow like moon’s beauty sublime,
And all I ever see is beauty—
Nothing less, and nothing else.
